		<description>EFCA does, in fact, effectively eliminate the secret ballot by allowing the union organizers to have the union certified if a majority of employees publicly sign the union card. This means in order to achieve that majority, union organizers can pressure those who haven&#039;t signed the card. Secret ballot is therefore, effectively eliminated because it is not needed in order the union to be certified.
